HENRICO, Va., Oct. 5, 2026 — Students enrolled in afterschool programs at 19 Henrico County Public Schools locations are eligible to receive free meals through HCPS’ Department of School Nutrition Services. Some sites will serve snacks and others will serve both snacks and dinners.

The meals are offered through the At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program, which is funded by federal and state money.

In Henrico, afterschool programs are managed by the Henrico Education Foundation and the YMCA of Greater Richmond. For enrollment information, visit the HEF website at www.henricogives.org or the YMCA website at ymcarichmond.org/programs/child-care/after-school-care.
